For every action, there is a reaction. It’s a simple concept in Physics, and in everything else in life. When it comes to politics, it morphs into the “Law of unintended consequences.” What does that mean? Essentially, every time a government decides to take action – on anything – the results will never be just what was intended in the first place. When you’re dealing with leaders that do not even attempt to look forward a few steps, those consequences tend to get much worse. Today, we’ll take a look at consequences of some things that have already happened, and a few that are still waiting in the wings. Whether it’s China, Somalia, terrorism, censorship, or science, governmental fiddling has real consequences.
